Thank A Trucker 2021
Whether it be the latest technology, the most fashion-forward outfits, or ground-breaking vaccines, truckers get us the things we need when we need them. That’s why it is important during National Truck Driver Appreciation Week – and every week – to thank a trucker for all of their hard work! So many aspects of our lives are made possible because of truck drivers and their dedication to their job.
National Truck Driver Appreciation Week
National Truck Driver Appreciation Week is a perfect time for individuals to recognize the commitment 3.5 million professional truck drivers put into their job while still keeping our roads safe. This year’s appreciation week is September 12-18, 2021. During this time, thousands of truckers will be thanked with lunches and giveaways, roadways will be lined with “thank a trucker” signage, and social media platforms will be flooded with appreciation for all truck drivers!
Looking back on the year we just had, truck drivers played a crucial part in the delivery of COVID-19 vaccines all across the United States. Be sure to take some time to thank a trucker this year!
Thank A Trucker
Truck drivers are essential to the delivery of food, fuel, medicine, clothing, and everything in between! On average, the men and women in the drivers’ seat transport over 10 billion tons of products and raw materials every year! That equals 70% of America’s freight tonnage annually! Their contributions and sacrifice are what helps keep America moving forward. Businesses and individuals are confident that their goods will arrive at their destination safely and on time – no matter if they are crossing state line or just county lines.
Thank You from Michael Martin:
“The truck driver keeps America moving. Without the truck driver, goods don’t get to manufacturers, stores, car dealerships or farms. Not only is it days of long work, but it is a stressful and demanding job. We appreciate the job they do and the hard work they put in each day.”
